COMMUNITY

We're committed to creating a supportive and inclusive community for all individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss, baby loss, or are faced with pregnancy choices. We believe that community support is essential to healing, which is why we strive to increase our presence outside of our hub walls and provide opportunities for those with similar experiences to connect and support each other.

Our efforts to build a stronger community are centred on four key initiatives:

Annual Services of Remembrance

We recognise the importance of remembering and honouring those we have lost. That's why we hold annual services of remembrance in Norwich and Great Yarmouth. These events provide an opportunity for individuals and families to come together to remember the lives of their loved ones

Peer Support Groups

We understand the importance of connecting with others who have shared experiences. That's why we are working to activate six volunteer-led peer support groups throughout Norfolk and Waveney. These groups will provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect, share, and support one another.

Network Development

We believe that collaboration is key to building a stronger community. To this end, we are actively developing our network with empathetic organisations and groups throughout Norfolk and Waveney. Our goal is to create a network of support that is accessible to all individuals who need it.

Engaging New Demographics

We recognise that there are many individuals and communities who may not have access to the support they need. To address this, we are actively working to engage new demographics, including men, CALD communities and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for all individuals who need our support.

At our core, we believe that community support is essential to healing. We are committed to building a stronger, more inclusive, and more supportive community for all individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss, baby loss, or are faced with pregnancy choices.
